It's also heartening to hear a Singapore judge say he doesn't give two fucks about people cheating as long as he can catch them.
Call me a hypocrite with my ASK THE JUDGE post, I hav caught two cheaters whilst judging without being informed by the players. While we don't have to do anything if nothing is being put forward, judges should not have a "cheating is fine as long as we can catch them" attitude. EDIT: Though I firmly believe most of the judges in Singapore aren't like that.
I don't give a rat's ass that I lost, cos I know I won. I'm ticked off because of the "oh he cheat, you never say anything" treatment I'm receiving. That's not even the point. I've done what I meant to do and now the everyone who reads the forum will know that Sam Kee is a cheat.
Pfft, and I thought cheating was only done by kids at Yew Tee who still lose regardless. Maybe Sam shared the World Champ title with Ogawa.
Its pretty easy to say things like this, but why don't you try to spot so much when you are running a real premier event with so much to lookout for?

I'm not saying you lie or what, but whatever u say after the whole incident has passed without any judge being notified to it, is plainly your account of what happened.
Its pointless if you have the most uber-flawless deck with perfect draws if you can't be tournament smart. Too bad.
I think it's even more pointless to play a game where there are cheats TBH. And people are saying all this, I put it to you, that if I never noticed it and never wrote this, he would continue, this isn't the first time I've heard him do it anyway. I don't think that's what we want. What we need is not for people to be all tournament smart, everyone can say no replay cos everyone wants to win. What we need is for cheaters to be eradicated from the game. Fair play is the answer, not rulesharking.

ReplyDeleteNot that I am an advocate of cheating, such occurrences are bound to happen. Its how you learn to deal with it that matters.
Sorry, but I sincerely beg to differ, anyone who can beat me or you has to have some sort of playing ability, no need to resort to such underhanded means.

ReplyDeleteYes I let him cheat without the inverted commas. That doesn't change what he did. I only made the decision to expose him a day after, but as it seems, it comes as no surprise to many. And that in itself is a problem.

You could have exposed sam on the spot, but you are confident that you can beat him so whose fault is it?
So what I suggest is: Live with it.
You hav jus demonstrated how ignorant you are. This hasn't been the first time he cheated, and yes while it has been my fault that I didn't stop him, it doesn't change the fact that he cheated, which is bad for the game, and players deserve to know. It has never been about me losing, which you seem to be celebrating about like a Man City fan, but more of the fact that certain players are cheating and this has to stop and we should do so by exposing them. The fault lies ENTIRELY with Sam. Unless I am whining about losing which I am not, but you sure sound like you're whining about me not thinking how superior you are compared to me with your persistent crap, squash like a bug? I guess I could describe that what I did to him in Game 2 considering I no longer have any respect for him. I'm living with it, oh yes I am. But YOU are no living at all, considering that your rebuttals are forever weak, irrelevant and baseless.
