Remember the time when Book of Moon and Kulat were at 3? BF was an extremely popular deck as it was both strong and economical.
Now, we rarely see any other BF players other than Vishal, mainly cos the deck lost too much in the March list, and even though the final Icarus was given back in Sept, the deck lost Oppression.
When I say former glory I don't mean tri-Whirlwind into Bomber, more of the Sept 2010 format. Why must BF be brought back to such a state? It is no secret that Konami hates on the birds ALOT, they have never missed a banlist, if you do consider Oppression to be a key card in BF, from Gale to Whirlwind to Whirlwind and then the biggest hit of all, BF is so hated by Konami because they keep owning every single new product they produce.
Just take a look at Sept 2010, Six Sams were messed up! Yet which deck most consistently defeated them? WWBF.
So for those who know me, they heard me say this many times before. Konami needs BF, because every single time they screw up with their product, BF is there to own it.
BF can't own Inzectzors in this state as consistently, give them back it's Book of Moons, don't even need Kulat, and BF will be able to clear this mess that Konami left us.
You don't need Book of Moon and Kalut. LOL BF already owns even without them, and even after they got hit a lot by the banlists. Still though, I think you have a point, BF is still a very consistent deck, and it just really needs a boost.

Im happy to see people like u actually understands how strong the deck is! Till this day, no other other deck has been consistant as bf after being hit by banlist more than twice~
ReplyDeleteLOL, I run WWBF and I still dominate the meta in my shop, that's why i love them XD I love BF ever since they came out, but I never got to the broken BF time of 3 Black Whirlwind then go Dark Dive Bomber (I went on hiatus during that time). It's kind of sad when you see a really good deck, that was once seen in the hands of pros and noobs alike, now left in a dusty cabinet or a binder.
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people quit BFs during the Sept 2011 Banlist. Most thought that BFs should have died because of the 1 Kalut left in the deck, but no, they still are great and a lot of it's players find more and more combos for BFs (compared to most decks that die once hit once or twice).
I hope that all your readers out there and all old BF players will run BF and claim back it's former glory. Cause no deck has ever been more consistent and broken than BF.
I believe BFs will truly die when Konami finds out what really makes the deck work, :D
Those people who stopped playing BF are realist. Why play a gimped deck when there are better decks out there.
ReplyDeleteFor those who are still playing it, good for you. I played Junk Doppel for more than a year now and it is finally time to give it up because it simply cannot keep up with what the other decks are dishing out in terms of consistency and card power.

If BF owns Inzecter/Agent/Dark World, who will buy the Structure decks and new boosters!!
It is these sort of decks that make people who dunwan to just follow everyone else quit. I know of a couple of people who quit cos they just like totally fuck Hyperion, fuck Hornet this is bullshit, and wait for the next format. We should be playing a balanced game and not one deck domination or two deck domination or even three deck domination. The meta should be as diverse as possible, and BF is a balanced option. And I don't really think

The deck has lost it's power. Some may disagree but there's one fact and that is : Any deck with a good starting hand can win the duel easily. BF with a good hand can easily push the duel for a while but not a guaranteed OTK. However, look at inzecters, dark world, agents and junk doppel, when they have a good hand it means that it is a 100% OTK without struggling unlike BF .
If whirlwind is banned..... >.<.

ReplyDeleteThe main reason why you should play BF is solely because of their ability to side in almost any card..also they have have extremely high consistancy, Like anjo said, it has been hit every banlist and it still tops occasioanl. im not saying its the best deck out there but its the only deck that is not so auto pilot like inzectors and TGAA, which should be the purspose of the whole game, Its no fun if the pros keep getting beaten by some noob who top decks hyperion or summons damsel and ends the game~
